Fish Amino Extract: A Natural bio-input for natural Farming

 

Fish extract provides an organic and nutrient-rich fertilizer widely used in Japan, Korea, and other organic farming communities. This natural manure enhances soil fertility and plant health without synthetic chemicals.

Ingredients

• 1 kg native fish
• 1 kg jaggery

Preparation 

1. Clean the fish by removing intestines (optional, to reduce odor) and chop into small pieces.
2. Powder the jaggery and mix it with the fish.
3. Place the mixture in a broad-mouthed glass or plastic jar of appropriate size.
4. Seal the jar tightly and shake well to mix. Do not add water.
5. Allow the mixture to ferment for 30 days.
6. After fermentation, filter the liquid using a nylon mesh to obtain a honey-like syrup.

Usage

Foliar Spray: Mix 5 ml of the extract in 1 liter of water and spray on plants.
Irrigation: For large-scale application, prepare in bulk using 5 kg fish and 5 kg jaggery and mix with irrigation water.

    This natural fertilizer enriches the soil, promotes plant growth, and supports sustainable farming practices.
